High-school women with outstanding aptitude and aspirations in technology should apply for the 2011 NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing. The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing honors young women at the high-school level for their computing-related achievements and interests. Awardees are selected for their computing and IT aptitude, leadership ability, academic history, and plans for post-secondary education. National award winners receive $500 and a laptop computer. All high-school women residing in the U.S. are eligible to apply. Deadline is October 15, 2010.
