San Diego Water District college scholarship - March 1st deadline

The Helix Water District is accepting applications from high school seniors interested in receiving a college scholarship. The agency plans to award two $1,000 scholarships to students living within the San Diego East County district, which includes La Mesa, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove and the El Cajon area. Applications are due by 1 March 2011. Each applicant must submit a statement of financial need, write an essay related to water and provide other materials.
