Youth Guidance's B.A.M. (Becoming A Man) mentoring high-risk boys program

Researchers identified 2,740 boys in high-crime neighborhoods and assigned them to control or treatment groups.  The treatment program, called "Becoming A Man," aimed to help youths make better decisions and develop conflict-resolution skills.  During the study year, program participans has better school attendanace and 44 percent fewer violent-crime arrests.http://www.youth-guidance.org/our-programs/b-a-m-becoming-a-man/
